Since the material is easy to work with it helps keep the project costs low. One advantage stainless steel has is that many parts do not need additional post plating.
Even though the additional cost of the material may be higher in many cases eliminating the need for post platingoperations can make the overall part cost lower. In addition, since post-plating or finishing can be environmentally unfriendly process due the chemicals and waste by-products products usingstainless steel can help with environmental sustainability and recycling concerns.
